I am sick of people thinking deodorant is optional

i’m sick of people thinking that they can judge others on a normal bodily function and that the only way they can be accepted is to wear something that is harmful/poisonous to your body. just because some men in the 1880’s decided bodily odor was no longer acceptable.

bitch you stink

Today we live in a world where if you’re not skinny, you’re considered ugly. You must have your bones sticking out, you must be tall, you must not eat… To be a model.

The even more sad thing is that now that is all transferring over to the colorguard and drum corps world. In order to make…

Gonna be honest, this isn’t new. If anything, it’s gotten more lenient. According to most 90s corps vets, you had to be skinny, blonde, and over 5’5” to be a phantomette.

Post with 1 note

i really give so few shits about so many social issues.

i consider myself a feminist and i support human rights but idk.

i choose to focus on things a bit closer to my heart, i guess? maybe they aren’t world-changing and all that but i think this generation’s obsession with “everyone can change the world” is a major determining factor in our dissatisfaction with life and how we choose to live it.

i want to bring music to the world and make sure kids who might not be as well off as others, or even as well off as i was/am (and I’m really not) a chance to sing or learn an instrument.

to me, that’s more important. i know i can have an impact there.

the biggest impact on human rights i’ll ever have is voting for the right peeps and maybe an extra protester at some rally.
